Inishfree is our light roast, a bright and sweet blend of 100% Arabica beans from Brazil, Colombia and Honduras.
Expect caramel and stewed apple with a milk chocolate finish. The lighter roast keeps the fruit and sweetness to the fore, which makes it our pick for filter coffee.
How to brew it
- Filter / pour-over: 60g of coffee per litre of water (20g to 333g for one cup) at a medium-fine grind; bloom first, then pour in slow circles.
- Batch brew or AeroPress: the same 60g per litre ratio is a good starting point.
Roasted in Northern Ireland, where we have been roasting since 2006. We are the only coffee roaster in Northern Ireland with BRC AA food-safety accreditation, and our Loring roaster uses up to 70% less gas and CO2 than a conventional roaster.
